Oil Life Monitoring System

Modern engines are equipped with advanced features. The GM Oil Life Monitoring System tells you when it's time for your next oil change. When the "ENGINE OIL CHANGE" message appears on your dashboard, it's time to schedule an appointment. In some cases, there may be no indication regarding vehicle maintenance for up to a year.


For added convenience, you can also monitor the oil life of your vehicle using the myChevrolet, myBuick, myGMC, or myCadillac mobile apps, which also allow you to book your next oil change when the time comes.
