December 01 2018, Christin Chevrolet Buick GMC
At Christin Automobiles, located in Montreal, near both the North and the South Shores, we know that picking a vehicle can be a difficult process, and that’s why we’d like to make your life easier by giving you some additional details on the 2018 GMC Canyon. There are a lot of things to consider while choosing one of the versions of this fantastic pick-up!
Shared Characteristics
Let’s talk about what you can expect on all versions of the GMC Canyon, namely the Canyon, the SLE, the SLT, the All-Terrain and the Denali. They all come with DuralifeMC disc brakes on all 4 tires with ABS (Antilock Braking System). They all have rear bumpers with an integrated footstool and LED headlights. Also, all these versions have a driver seat with power seat adjustment.
The Turbodiesel DuramaxMD Engine
This powerful 2.8-liter, 4-cylinder engine can produce up to 181 horsepower and is optional on the SLE, SLT, All-Terrain and Denali versions. Unfortunately, it’s not available on the base model, the Canyon.
The 4G LTE
This feature is included on the SLE, SLT, All-Terrain and Denali versions, which all come with a wireless access point and a 1-month/3 Go of free data starting at the delivery date. On the GMC Canyon model, this technology is only optional.
Aluminium Trimmings, Touchscreen and Heated Mirrors
As with the two previous elements, these features are standard on the SLE, SLT, All-Terrain and Denali versions. However, they’re not even optional on the GMC Canyon base model. If one of these three things is a deal breaker for you, choose accordingly.
Single Zone Air Conditioner with Automatic Command
You can see the pattern, here: this feature, that allows you to select the desired temperature for your specific zone of the cabin, is standard on the SLT, All-Terrain and Denali versions, and is only optional on the Canyon SLE. For the GMC Canyon base model, it’s not even an option.
Collision Warning and Lane Departure Warning Systems
These fairly common safety features are standard on the Canyon Denali, optional on the SLE and All-Terrain, and unavailable on the GMC Canyon SLT and the base model.
20-inch aluminum wheels
These gorgeous rims are exclusive to the GMC Canyon Denali.
All-Terrain Suspension with Downhill Control
If you want to have this handy feature, the GMC Canyon SLT and Denali are your only two options.
We hope that this short list will help you sort out which 2018 GMC Canyon version is best for you. Come visit us at Christin Automobiles, located in Montreal, near both the North and the South Shores, to get more information!
