Automatic Crash Response (ACR), one of OnStar’s best emergency features, uses sensors in your vehicle that activate when a collision occurs to initiate contact to OnStar. In some situations, it may not be possible to reach the emergency button. This automatic system helps close time gaps in critical situations.
Vehicle theft is an unfortunate possibility. With OnStar’s Stolen Vehicle Assistance feature you will have a deterrent. The system uses the GPS to locate your vehicle in the event of theft. This enables local authorities to recover your vehicle and, hopefully, find the perpetrator(s).
When you are on a road trip, it’s important to have backup when you are far from home. The Roadside Assistance feature will help you get back on the road if your vehicle encounters a failure. Whether you run out of gas, get a flat tire, encounter an engine breakdown, or other mechanical mishap, OnStar will find and dispatch a local service to assist you.
OnStar’s Crisis Assist feature will arrange alternative routing, a place to stay, and provide other services during a national crisis or weather emergency.

The Connected Access Plan provides critical vehicle information through a monthly diagnostics report and vehicle alerts. Whether it’s time for an oil change or other service, you will be notified on a timely basis, and OnStar will even contact your preferred dealership so they can arrange an appointment with you.
With the Remote Access Plan, you will have all Connected Access services and also benefit from features such as Remote Key Fob, On-Demand Diagnostics and Advisor Support, advanced Navigation, Vehicle Locate, and more services.
